DMC Floss Bobbin Winder (U6104/6)

DMC Floss Bobbin Winder (U6104/6)

Save time on preparation and devote more time to creativity! The bobbin winder from the French brand DMC is an essential tool for every stitcher who values order and a professional approach to organizing their floss collection.

Why is this device a must-have for your toolkit?

• Maximum Speed: Winding a single skein of floss by hand takes several minutes, but with this device, it takes just seconds. This is especially useful when organizing large palettes or leftover threads from complex projects.

• Even Tension: The device ensures neat and tight thread placement. This prevents the floss from tangling and allows you to fit more thread on the bobbin than with manual winding.

• Convenience: The design allows the device to easily clip onto the side of most plastic embroidery organizers (such as the DMC 6118/6 box). You don’t need to hold the tool in your hands it stays firmly in place for comfortable operation.

• Versatility: The bobbin slot is designed to fit both classic cardboard and standard-sized plastic bobbins.

How to use the device?

1. Clip the winder onto the side of your organizer box.

2. Insert the bobbin into the dedicated holder slot.

3. Secure the thread end in the notch of the bobbin.

4. Turn the handle, smoothly guiding the thread with your other hand to distribute it evenly across the width of the spool.

Pro-tip for perfect organization:

This device works best in tandem with a DMC organizer box. Simply attach it to the wall of the box, and you can wind and immediately store the finished bobbins by number without leaving your workspace.
